The Clippers were without there game seven hero entering game 1 vs the Rockets. That posed no problem for the Clippers, they take game one 117-101 behind a triple-double from Blake Griffin 26 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists and a double double from DeAndre Jordan. James Harden had 20 points and Dwight Howard led all Rockets with 22.
The Rockets were picked to win this game considering the rest that they’ve had, and the Clippers were on a short turnaround from the game seven victory.
