The Los Angeles Clippers were eliminated in the 1st round of the NBA Playoffs vs the Portland Trail Blazers after losing Chris Paul and Blake Griffin to season ending injuries in the middle of the series. The Clippers suffered yet another disappointing season, which has caused some to believe that a change is needed. Los Angeles has the 25th pick in the 1st round of this year’s draft but according to Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders:

It depends on how much LA is willing to give up to move up in the draft. The prospects this year have been all over the place in terms of potential, and unless the Clippers have a particular someone in mind, it doesn’t seem worth it to give up an asset. Wesley Johnson and Austin Rivers have opted out of their contracts with the team and there have been rumors that they are looking to trade one of their stars, but that’s all speculation until we hear it from Doc Rivers himself.
