According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, Chris Paul will not only be available but will start tonight as well. This bodes well for the Suns as they are up 2-0 in the series without Paul being available whatsoever. With the elevated play of Cam Payne, and Devin Booker’s rise to a playoff stardom Phoenix has been playing some great basketball.

Paul has been credited with a lot of the success the Suns have had this season. They had the second-best record in the west, and swept their second-round opponents, the Denver Nuggets. As the series goes to LA, Paul will be in front of his former long-time home crowd. The storyline of Chris Paul potentially taking the Clippers down in the WCF after all the postseason frustration he has had not only in LA but in general.
With Kawhi Leonard out for the foreseeable future, Paul George and his supporting cast are going to have to find out a way to take the Suns down in a game or two. If they end up going down 3-0 or 3-1, their chances are slim, but not impossible. Tune in to Game 3 tonight to find out if the Clippers can flip the tides of the series.
