According to TMZ Sports one of the homes of former NBA star Chris Bosh was raided by police as part of a drug trafficking investigation. Freida Bosh, Chris’ mother, is also reportedly a suspect in the case.
Police raided the home around 6:30 a.m. according to WFAA-TV in Dallas. The report also says they were tipped off by sources who say “hand to hand” drug transactions had been seen outside the home. No arrests have been made.
On November 10th, police stopped a car coming from the Bosh house and found several bags of cocaine and marijuana and empty bags with residue. Authorities then surveillanced the house for weeks after that and were granted a no-knock warrant.
Chris Bosh is not a suspect in the investigation, according to police. However, it certainly has been a strange year. He was sued earlier in the year by porn moguls who rented out his mansion, only to find it was in disgusting shape. His back and forth interactions with the Miami Heat in regards to his playing career has also left some people scratching their head. Bosh is officially a free agent, but there is growing belief that his health is too poor to make a comeback in the NBA.
