Chlöe and Halle Bailey have delivered a number of hypnotic R&B and soul tracks over the years and they also appeared in Grown-ish together for multiple seasons, but they have used the last few years to spread their wings individually. Halle Bailey has experimented with her own sound as a solo artist while also landing the lead role in Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Meanwhile, Chlöe has delivered her fair share of solo tracks, performed at the MTV Video Music Awards and earned a spot on the ONE Musicfest stage in Atlanta, Georgia. Now, she’s taking her talents to Pepsi.
Chlöe Bailey has one of the sweetest, yet smooth voices in all of music. This fall, she will use her flavorful vocals to create a rendition of “Footloose” that will support the launch of Pepsi’s latest offering, Pepsi Zero Cream Soda Cola. In the newly released music video, Bailey waltzes into an old-school diner while humming the “Footloose” melody. Understandably, she struts her way through the restaurant toward the cooler holding all of the Pepsi Zero Cream Soda Cola. Honoring the classic 1984 film, Bailey tastes a bit of the refreshing drink and begins leading the entire diner in her rendition of “Footloose.” After putting together a showstopping performance, she takes another sip of the newly released drink.
Consumers may not be able to dance and sing with Chlöe Bailey this fall, but they can grab a 12 or 20-ounce can of the new, limited-edition Pepsi Zero Cream Soda Cola at a store near them. In addition, Pepsi is encouraging all consumers to create their own modern take on Chlöe’s song via a TikTok dance challenge, inspired by Summer 2022’s viral “Footloose” TikTok trend. Participants will have a chance to win autographed items from Chlöe, including signed posters and the signed sneakers that she wore on the set of the music video, along with other prizes.
