In this new teaser video, “Nutshell,” for the late Phife Dawg, we see rappers Greg Nice (Nice & Smooth), Jarobi White (ATCQ), Rass Kass, Plug 2 (De La Soul), Dinco D (Leaders Of The New School), and Talib Kweli speak on what they think Phife was in a nutshell. The single will be produced by J. Dilla, who has also passed, but just because these soldiers have fallen doesn’t mean their impact won’t be felt for years, forever.
Due to the fact that it was diabetes that took the legendary rapper from us, all proceeds from the sale, via iTunes, of this single will go to American Diabetes Association and the National Kidney Foundation.
