Chance the Rapper brought out Vic Mensa to perform during his headlining set at Lollapalooza. Vic appeared during Chance’s performance of ‘Cocoa Butter Kisses’ to the pleasure of fans in attendance. Mensa stayed to perform ‘Didn’t I (Say I Didn’t)’ from his debut album The Autobigraphy.
The two Chicago artists were rumored to have had a rift in their relationship over the last year, but that appears to be over. Chance celebrated the release of Mensa’s debut by posting the pre-order on his Instagram.
After the performance, Vic took to his Instagram to second the family notion.
This is a very good look for the Chicago artists as their relationship goes back to high school. It’s always good to see young men put their differences aside without escalation. Now let’s just hope that we get more music together from the two.
