If you need a reference as to who is effectively dominating the independent music scene, look no further than Chicago rapper, Chance The Rapper. Making his debut with his 10 Day mixtape back in 2012, it wasn’t until his followup project, Acid Rap, that the rapper saw major attention and continues to receive praise for the project. With plenty of fans anticipating and begging for the followup for the project, Chance The Rapper announced his new mixtape, Chance 3, several days ago without an accompanying release date. Using the platform of “The Tonight Show,” Chance took the opportunity to not only debut ‘Blessings,’ from the project, but went forth to share the good news that Chance 3 will be released in full on May 13th, just a week from today. Being highly anticipated among Hip-Hop fans, and Chance seeing immense success over the past few years, the sky is the limit as to what the rapper has came up with for the new body of work.
