Last season, the Boston Celtics won 53 games and captured first place in the Eastern Conference. After adding All-Star small forward Gordon Hayward this offseason, the C’s will look to build on last season’s success and be even better this year.

A few games to watch:
October 17, @ Cleveland: The first game against the team that eliminated the C’s from the playoffs last season. Watch to see how this re-vamped Celtics team matches up vs. the Kings of the East. The game will air at 8 p.m. ET on TNT.
November 27, vs. Detroit: This will be Avery Bradley’s first game back in the Garden. Bradley has been a huge part of the Celtics’ success over the past few seasons and was a fan favorite due to his constant hustle and two-way ability. He was also the last tie to the Rajon Rondo-Paul Pierce-Kevin Garnett era. The applause should be roaring, and the tribute video may be a tearjerker for some sentimental C’s fans. The game will air at 7:30 p.m. ET, and will not be nationally televised.
March 28, @ Utah: This will be Gordon Hayward’s first game back in Utah; the Celtics are certainly better than the Jazz, but it should be interesting to see how Jazz fans greet Hayward; will they applaud? Boo? There will probably be a mix of the two. The game will air at 9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
