The Cleveland Cavaliers have won 6 in a row, and you basically knew this would happen. NO team with LeBron James, Kevin Love, and Kyrie Irving on the same team should be below .500. Now that the Cavaliers are getting things rolling, David Blatt is telling people that LeBron should definitely be considered an MVP.
According to ESPN:
“He’s the greatest player in our game, and … his performance has been as high level as ever. And you don’t have to look very far at our record to see what impact he has on this team when he’s playing and not playing.”
MVP. The Most Valuable Player to their team and this league. It is definitely way to early to tell who the MVP in this league will be. LeBron James is in fact the greatest player in the NBA, and he is on his home team. If you were to take away LeBron James from the Cleveland Cavaliers they would not be in the position they are in now, even with Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving. David Blatt is true in what he said, because he is a major leader in the Cavaliers organization and sometimes even acts as a coach. LeBron is everything you want to see in a player, and he can be an MVP. But MVP is usually given to a player who turns leadership and personal performance into team outcomes. So when the Cavaliers start to become dominant (which I see happening), you will definitely see LeBron in the MVP discussion.
