Cardi B appeared in court Friday (April 19) and declined to accept a plea deal.
The charges include reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of assault following an August 2018 incident at a New York strip club. Police claim Cardi B’s involvement includes throwing chairs and bottles.
Cardi B who has thrown things in public on more than one occasion decided to reject an offered plea. CNN reports the plea deal offered a class A misdemeanor charge and a conditional discharge.
Despite any legal issues, Cardi B continues to make money moves. Recently, the rapper and reality star announced she can add actress to her growing resume as she joins fellow Bronx star Jennifer Lopez in the upcoming film Hustlers.
Hopefully, the charges are not a hindrance to Cardi B’s career.
