Sad news for fans of producer Calvin Harris. The Scottish DJ had to cancel his performance tomorrow night due to illness. This is even more tragic as the MTV European Music Awards take place in Glasgow. Harris has just released his new album, Motion.
MTV announced his cancallation via their Facebook page.
Hey #MTVEMA fans – we have some really sad news. Calvin Harris has taken ill and will not be able to perform at tomorrow’s show. He sends his sincere apologies.

The music tv station was however able to add a new high profile performer to the list today: Alicia Keys will sing at the O2 Academy Glasgow venue and be beamed into the SSE Hydro for the EMA audience.
Nicki Minaj is going to host the event which will start at 9 pm GMT.
