As of this month, we haven’t heard much from Busta Rhymes via the music circuit. Aside from the previous singles, ‘Twerk It’, ‘Thank You’, and ‘Calm Down’, being released in 2013 and 2014, Busta Bust has keep relatively quiet as he works on his next LP. The rapper is now back in headlines, but not due to his music. According to CBS New York, the rapper was involved in an altercation at a Chelsea gym, which lead to his arrest.
The 43-year-old rapper and actor, whose given name is Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr., was arrested around 8:30 p.m. at the Steel Gym at 143 W. 23rd St., sources said.
Sources said Busta Rhymes got into a fight with a fellow gym goer, and allegedly threw a container of Lean Body Protein drinks at the victim.
At the moment, Busta Rhymes has currently been released. One who is known more for his music rather than his legal troubles, surely this will be handled accordingly and Busta can get back readying his next album.
