On Monday, December 18, Bernard “Bun B” Freeman offered an early gift to his hometown of Houston, Texas. Stepping up as “Santa Trill” days before Christmas, Bun B’s Trill Burgers hosted a toy drive. In exchange for the donation of one toy, customers were gifted a free “Baby G” single-patty burger. Also, “Santa Trill” handed out special gifts to the first 100 kids who stopped by the restaurant.
“Santa Trill is coming through, y’all,” Bun B said.
“We just wanna thank you for blessing us and making us the company that we are today, making sure that everybody gets a little something.”
The toy drive and “Baby G” giveaway concluded the restaurant’s “12 Days of Trillmas” series. Throughout the month of December, Bun B and Trill Burgers hosted pop-up events, offered discounts to emergency responders, merchandise giveaways.
“Thank you for making #Trillmas a success. We love seeing Houston show up & out for the community,” a statement from Trill Burgers reads.
“Merry Trillmas from Santa Trill and the whole Trill Burgers team.”
