It’s like the injuries couldn’t just wait to start this season. We already have Steve Nash, Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, Julius Randle, and Nick Young missing large sums of games for their respective clubs and now we have the Chicago Bulls Guard and defensive stopper Jimmy Butler injured for 2-4 weeks with a thumb injury. Butler suffered the injury in the pre-season and was looking to be ready for the opener against the Knicks, but will be unavailable for the Bulls for 2-4 weeks.
Supposedly Coach Tom Thibodeau told reporter K.C Johnson:
Thibodeau said Butler is out 2-4 weeks. Wow.

Analysis: This is a huge blow for the Bulls who have their eyes set on the championship. They are lucky that its only short term or they would lose their defensive stopper and only hope at guarding LeBron James for a while. Hopefully guys like Tony Snell, Kirk Hinrich, and Mike Dunleavy can step up to contribute for the Bulls. Speaking of those guys, they would be good pick ups for fantasy because they are definitely going to get some more minutes.
