The homecoming of Jabari Parker back to Chicago was one of the feel-good stories of the offseason. An opportunity for the former number two overall draft pick to reinvigorate his career in the Windy City.
It now appears that Parker will have to prepare to turn in around on a different team.
K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune tweets that the Bulls are engaging multiple teams in trading Parker and that there is “considerable interest”.
Bulls have engaged in talks with several teams regarding Jabari Parker, per sources. There’s considerable interest in Parker the player. Finding right fit financially is next.

What Johnson means by finding the right fit financially is the $20 million that Parker is making this season. The Bulls gave him a lucrative contract with a team option next season. That may prove difficult to move, especially when the team recently moved Parker out of the rotation all together.
The 23-year-old Jabari Parker is averaging the second-most points per game of his career at 15.2, but shooting a career-low 45.5 percent from the floor. He is also hemorrhaging points on the other end with a 109.8 defensive rating, bringing his net rating to minus 11. So far, the offensive game is not out-weighing the defensive deficiencies. The one thing that he has proven is his health, something that was a significant question for a guy with multiple knee surgeries.
