Hibbert was a part of the Bucks-Hornets trade earlier in the month, and this will be his second time being traded this season. He has averaged 5.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 16 minutes in 42 games.
The Nuggets have been active in trade discussions this season, also recently trading for Mason Plumlee. They intend on building the team around young star Nikola Jokic, and view Hibbert as someone that can help them make the Playoffs this season, according to Wojnarowski.
Hibbert did not play a single game for the Bucks, who continue focusing their efforts on building around their young core of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker.
Hibbert, 30, holds career-averages of 10.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, and was named to the All-Star team in 2012 and 2014.
He is set to become a unrestricted free agent on July 1st.
