Jason Kidd must be searching for the perfect point guard or he may even suit up for the team at this point.
Michael Carter-Williams was acquired at the trade deadline after the 76ers shocked everyone and gave up on the 23 year old.
It looks like just after 3 short months he could be on the trading block once again come draft time according to JournalTimes.com
One might imagine the Bucks are set at the point guard position, especially after making a midseason trade for Michael Carter-Williams and Tyler Ennis.
There are some NBA officials, though, who contend the Bucks aren’t totally sold on Carter-Williams, just like they weren’t completely sold on Brandon Knight, whom they dealt to Phoenix in the deal in February.
Carter-Williams finally seemed to end up in a perfect situation with a head coach like Jason Kidd and Kidd’s resume speaks for itself the sky would be the limit for Carter-Williams.
Kidd could desire a guard in the NBA draft this summer though a player he can mold to fit his system perfectly, and possibly create a superstar.
Carter-Williams averaged 14 points and 6 assists last season, but The Bucks must be concerned about his injury riddled past or could be seeking more from the point guard position.
This would mark the second time The Bucks have traded their starting point guard in the past year. If it does happen and it would mark the second time in a year Carter-Williams would be traded as well.
The biggest weakness for Carter-Williams is his streaky shooting, but overall he does everything good rebounds, assists, and scoring in traffic. It’s tough to tell if his stats are inflated because of being on the awful Sixers teams or if he’s really that good.
The Bucks seem to have other plans in place though if it’s true, and I think Jason Kidd wants a player that can shoot the rock to space the floor out for Milwaukee.
