The Milwaukee Bucks are paying a hefty price for their front court. With signing Greg Monroe and John Henson to big contracts last year and now re-signing Miles Plumlee for a 4-year, $50 million deal, the Bucks are paying $47 million for their 3 centers. According to Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
League source says Bucks and Miles Plumlee have agreed on four-year, $50 million deal.

The contract is a big one. With the salary cap increase, players you wouldn’t expect are getting tons of money this summer and you can add Miles Plumlee to that list. He’s getting paid the same amount of money as Jordan Clarkson re-signed for this summer and statistically they are two different players on two very different levels. After getting traded by the Phoenix Suns to the Bucks as a part of the trade that sent Brandon Knight to Phoenix, Plumlee has barely played, averaging 5.1 points, 3.8 rebounds shooting 60% from the field. There’s no speculation yet but inking Plumlee to such an illustrious deal might mean that one of either Greg Monroe or John Henson is on their way out of Milwaukee. Monroe is getting paid $17 million but not producing at the level that the Bucks had thought he would. But for now, congratulations to Miles Plumlee for getting paid $12 million a year.
