The Brooklyn Nets are having an odd off-season after re-signing center Brook Lopez and reaching a buyout with point guard Deron Williams.
The Nets are in basketball purgatory a team that is not quite good enough to contend for championships, but will be good enough to sneak into the playoffs.
Well, the Nets just made another small move by waiving forward Earl Clark after Clark wanted to pursue opportunities elsewhere.

The 27-year-old has experienced some ups and downs in his career having success with the 2012-2013 Los Angeles Lakers after being dealt from Orlando Magic along with Dwight Howard.
Earl Clark is seeking a deal to play overseas which the Nets granted his wish.
He’s entering familiar territory after playing for the Zhejiang Guangsha Lions in 2011 during the NBA lockout, but was granted his release once the lockout was lifted.
Clark was signed to a ten-day contract by the Brooklyn Nets which led to a multi-year deal with the Nets during the off-season.
The time he’s spent in the NBA he’s averaged 4 points per game and 3 rebounds which he’s proven to have the size, but has yet to carve out a niche on a roster.
Earl Clark also spent some time overseas last year averaging 26 points per game and 10 rebounds in 19 games with success like that how could you not want to go back?
The multi-year deal was another hiccup in Billy King’s tenure with the Nets which has proven to be a letdown after having the leagues largest team salary.
The team has dealt with its fair share of drama which Deron Williams might have been the center of.
For Brooklyn this isn’t necessarily a huge loss, but a questionable move from the very beginning to even sign Clark long-term.
