The Brooklyn Nets are attempting to rebuild the franchise they accidentally demolished. They will do this by trying to obtain something that is in strangely scarce supply in Brooklyn, draft picks. With little assets or viable options, Brook Lopez who has been perpetually on the trade block looks to be the major player they are prepared to move on from. So prepared that they have even adjusted their initial asking price for him per ESPN’s Marc Stein.
The price on Brook Lopez has dropped, league sources say. Instead of two first-rounders, word is Brooklyn would accept a first and a second.

This comes after some reports that the Pacers may be interested in Brook Lopez. The Pacers have also made it known that their first round pick is available after some rumblings from Paul George about wanting to play on a championship contender. Dots seem to be connecting with these two teams, keeping an eye out for a potential deal would not be a terrible idea.
The Brooklyn Nets are not done there, however, according to the Vertical’s, Adrian Wojnarowski, trade talks around small forward Bojan Bogdanovic are starting to heat up as well.
Teams pursuing Brooklyn’s Bojan Bogdanovic suggest they’re ramping up on offers, process moving closer to Nets choosing best available deal.

Both of these guys may be utilized to snag some quality future first round picks or possibly some young players if the Nets play their cards right. It does appear to be good timing to make a move with so many teams looking to add players to improve their rosters right now. The Nets may have been the ones to destroy their future but at least they are actively trying to fix it. For a Nets fan, that is about as much as you can ask for right now.
