The Hangover star looks like he’s trying to snag the male lead in the fourth remake of the film, A Star Is Born.
Cooper would be the love interest of Beyoncé Knowles should he accept the part for the film.
The Clint Eastwood directed film was suppose to begin filming in January of this year, but it was put on hold because Knowles was pregnant at the time with her daughter Blue Ivy Carter. It’s also been taking the film some time to get off of the ground because it’s been very hard to find a male lead.
According to IrishCentral, a ton of men have turned down the male lead role:
To date Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale and Will Smith have all reportedly turned down the role. Tom Cruise was also allegedly linked to the part for a time.
It’ll be interesting to see how this turns out, especially with Beyoncé starring in one of her most important films to date.
