Washington Wizards star shooting guard Bradley Beal will miss two games after suffering a sprained left wrist. The two games will come against the Milwaukee Bucks and the Philadelphia 76ers on the first and second of February. Unless something changes the star shooting guard will return to action on February 5th against the Phoenix Suns. These are tough matchups for the Wizards with or without Beal in the lineup.
Wizards say Bradley Beal will miss the next two games due to a sprained left wrist and be evaluated further.

The Wizards have had an up and down season but unquestionably play better with Bradley Beal in the lineup. Washington is currently sitting with 23 wins and 26 losses. That is only good enough to be the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference and just outside of the play-in games. They are currently one game outside of the tenth seed Atlanta Hawks. Every game matters for a team that would like to make the playoffs and convince Beal to continue to stay with the team.

Beal and the Wizards started off hot but came back down to earth as the NBA season advanced. It is currently unclear how long the star shooting guard will want to stay with a team that has no clear direction forward that could land them in contention. For now, the team needs Beal on the court to consistently compete in and win basketball games. Without him, it will be much harder to do that. This wrist injury will keep him out for a least two games, but after that is up in the air.
We here at Def Pen Sports wish Bradley Beal a quick and easy recovery.
