Bradley Beal has NOT had the break out season, everyone expected him to have. Players like Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry, have. Despite the fact that Beal has not made the leap into stardom he still is the 2nd leading scorer on the Washington Wizards who are the 4th best team in the Eastern Conference. On Thursday against the Charlotte Hornets, Bradley Beal had to leave the game with a toe injury.
Here is the injury:
According to J.Michael of CSN Washington:
Beal was 0-for-5 and had just one point at the time of his exit with 1:03 left. He went to the bench during a timeout and was worked on by head athletic trainer Eric Waters. They immediately left for the locker room.
In a loss to the Toronto Raptors earlier in the week, Beal needed extra attention in the trainer’s room because of his foot but has played through it.
It doesn’t sound too good for the Washington Wizards and Bradley Beal, as they lost the game vs. the Charlotte Hornets AND lost their 2nd leading scorer. Not to mention the fact that they have now lost 5 in a row.
