On the last episode, Mo pitched his life story to a screenwriter while continuing his scheme to rise to the top of Wall Street. At the same time, he was also arguing with Dawn about her role in the company, causing her to leave threatening to quit. Meanwhile, Keith tried to prank Blair on his first day but it ultimately blew up in his face. He unwittingly caused a crisis only Dawn could solve, making Mo’s negotiations with her very difficult. In the end, Keith and Blair were able to save the day at the last second but Mo still gave Dawn an ownership stake in the company. Things don’t end perfectly for Dawn though. When she gets home, she accidentally plays a tape for Spencer, her boyfriend, that mentions ‘sexual tension’ between her and Mo.
This week picks up on Mo in a meeting with the ‘boys club’ in the office. Which obviously means doing coke and playing duck hunt. Mo asks the men for advice on how to forge a father/son bond with Blair. It’s revealed Dawn is in the room too as she gets the meeting on track and tells them they must hide the Georgina shares or they’ll all go broke. She also tells Mo to just talk to Blair to bond, but he ignores her and takes Keith’s NES as a gift for Blair. Speaking of, we then see Blair talking with Tiff as he gets ready for his big night with Mo. She convinces him to make Mo promote him and he heads off on their adventure.
Elsewhere, Keith is with his secret male lover as he lies to his wife about losing their son’s bar mitzvah gift. After he hangs up, Keith argues with his partner about leaving his wife and giving the shares to him to hold. Keith worries about sharing his sexuality with his co-workers and family before his partner storms off. Meanwhile, Dawn and Spencer are having an interesting dinner with her parents. We drop in on them as Dawn’s mother gives them a curious painting before Dawn shares the news of her promotion. She argues with Spencer and her father over having children before her mother shuts them up and toasts to Dawn’s promotion.
Back across the city, Mo takes Blair to see the death of a salesman, literally. Meaning he took Blair to the execution of a man who apparently used to be a salesman. Later on at dinner, Mo lies about his upbring and manipulates Blair into think they’re bonded. The two bail on the five star restaurant and head for local burger place instead. Meanwhile, Keith tries to get his wife to hold his Georgina stock but she doesn’t fall for it and only asks about the NES Mo took. He leaves and goes to steal his partner’s NES to placate his wife but while he gets the games system, he loses his partner and takes a rough tumble, breaking his arm.
Back at Dawn’s place, dinner has started and she’s trying to unload the Georgina shares onto her parents. Her mother calls her out and Dawn claps right back, calling her out for her hypocrisy. She even snaps at Spencer before she storms out after defending herself. At the burger place, Mo gets Blair to warm all the way up to him by lying about his past with the burger place. Eventually, Blair tries some of Mo’s coke and they run off for a night of shenanigans.
The next morning, Keith steals another NES as he exits the hospital from a fall the night before. At the same time, Dawn signs her part of the shares over to Spencer as she looks somewhat distraught. She stows her mother’s painting in the closet and goes off to Keith’s son’s bar mitzvah. Across town, Mo drops Blair off at home and gives him a promotion on a whim before also heading off to the bar mitzvah. Blair goes inside and realizes Tiff took her parent’s money after he told her not to. The two argue and he storms off.
At the celebration, Keith continues to try and make his wife sign for his Georgina shares. She sees right through it and calls him out, warning him not to involve the family. Later, he sits dejected as his son begins to ask him about the absent party entertainment. Suddenly, they’re both surprised when the Mets’ mascot comes skating in and starts dancing. Keith recognizes his lover and the two make up outside later. Before he skates off though, he tells Keith that he’ll hold onto the Georgina shares. Back inside, Mo’s gift to Keith’s son is his third of the Georgina shares and everything starts looking up for the three of them after unloading those. However, Blair runs in to tell Mo his big news. News that might throw a wrench in their plans: He and Tiff broke up.
