When Netflix announced that it was going to be producing new episodes of the British television series ‘Black Mirror’ back in 2015 few could have imagined the impact the show would have on the american television landscape. Several episodes from that run garnered major critical acclaim and have developed a rabid cult following. One episode entitled ‘San Junipero‘ (my personal favorite single episode of television ever) even snagged two emmy nominations.
It’s no surprise that coming off the success of last season, that Netflix was going to continue on with the series. Today, they gave us our first look at the titles of six new episodes of ‘Black Mirror’ that are set to drop later this fall. The titles of the six new episodes are ‘Crocodile’, ‘Arkangel’, ‘Hang The DJ’, ‘USS Callister’, ‘Metalhead’, and ‘Black Museum’. The titles will obviously lead to lots speculation among the ‘Black Mirror’ faithful, but if there’s one thing that ‘Black Mirror’ has taught us it’s to expect the unexpected.
Several newcomers have joined the series this time around such as Jesse Plemons (Fargo), Joe Cole (Peaky Blinders, Green Room) and Rosemarie Dewitt (Mad Men). There’s no word yet on if any other recognizable names will be featured in any of the new episodes that are set to debut this fall.
