The fourth quarter of 2022 is jam-packed with major, high-stakes releases and Warner Bros. Pictures’ Black Adam is certainly one of those films. Starring Dwayne Johnson and Aldis Hodge, the DC Universe takes center stage following the success of The Batman and puts a complicated character on the red carpet.
“In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam was bestowed the almighty powers of the gods. After using these powers for vengeance, he was imprisoned, becoming Black Adam. Nearly 5,000 years have passed and Black Adam has gone from man, to myth, to legend,” the trailer’s description reads.
“Now released, his unique form of justice, born out of rage, is challenged by modern-day heroes who form the Justice Society: Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher and Cyclone.”
Alongside Johnson and Hodge, the film features Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone. Under the direction of Jaume Collet-Serra, Mo Amer, Bodhi Sabongui and Pierce Brosnan will also appear in the film. Check out the talented cast in their second official trailer before the film arrives in theaters on October 21, 2022.
