Watt closed donations to the relief fund last week. When all was said and done, Watt raised $37 Million to help those affected by hurricane Harvey in the Houston area. The initial goal was $200,000, but the goal was surpassed thanks to over 200,000 donors.
Zack Cox shared some words Watt had to say about Brady and Belichick:

Earlier in September, Belichick talked about the close relationship the Patriots have with the city of Houston. While sporting a University of Houston hat, Belichick said,
“I want to give a little shout out to Houston. We had a great experience down there in February, a lot of great relationships with the Texans and the University [of Houston] down there. We’ve got some players with some family down there, so we just want to let them know we’re thinking about them.”
This was an incredibly kind gesture by these two Patriot legends. Though they are ruthless on the football field, they showed a true, kind-hearted spirit with these donations. Thanks to everyone who donated, people in Houston will get the help they need. The Patriots will host the Texans in Foxborough this Sunday.
