At this point, the dust has settled. The world has had a chance to listen to, understand, and live with Drake’s latest mixtape, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. The focus has now shifted onto his fourth studio album, Views From The 6. Announced almost a year ago, there is little to no knowledge about the project, except that we know that Drake is currently working on it. Well, the folks over at FourPins got a chance to spend some time with Drake and it appears a bit more information regarding the project was shared. Whose name was brought up, the one and only Queen B.
The topic of our talk switches to Drake’s upcoming fourth album. He only has two songs finished that he likes. One is a collaboration with Beyoncé that he recorded a while ago. The other is a song that he expects to inspire a paradigm shift. His days of releasing lay-up bangers that everyone loves right away are over. For now.
This may or may not come as a surprise as some may have figured this was a given due to Drake featuring on Beyoncé’s most recent self-titled monster album on their collaboration, ‘Mine’. What does come as a surprise is that the Canadian rapper only has 2 finished songs, for Views From The 6, that he likes. This could mean a plethora of things, but more on that later. For now, it’s safe to say that Drake is a member of Beyoncé’s Beyhive. More importantly, it’ll be interesting to see if the record follow along the likes of ‘Mine’ or takes a polar opposite turn of its own.
