The Renaissance tour was expected to end tonight in Kansas City, Missouri, but Beyonce may be interested in adding a few more dates. The Texas-born superstar and AMC Theaters are reportedly working to bring the live show to the big screen. A theatrical edition of the tour’s greatest sights and sounds is expected to hit theaters nationwide as early as December 1, 2023.
She is no stranger to the bright lights of Hollywood. In the past, she and her hitmaking husband, Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, inked a deal to bring her On The Run tour to HBO. More recently, Netflix and Beyonce collaborated to produce a documentary about her performance at Coachella in 2019.
Beyonce is the latest global superstar to bring the sights and sounds of her latest tour to the big screen. Not long ago, representatives for Taylor Swift secured a deal with AMC Theaters. Swift’s team produced an inside look at the Eras tour as she made her way around the world’s biggest stadiums. Similar to the deal that Beyonce brokered, Swift stands to take home half of all worldwide profits from the picture. It is currently set to hit theaters on October 13, 2023.
