Well, things have certainly took an interesting turn. As the days go by and the world continues to soak in ‘Formation,’ in the back of the minds of many, we are left wondering just when Beyonce will release her upcoming studio album. With the “Formation World Tour” already announced and quickly selling out, and the singer’s previous body of working being in December 2013, if you ask almost anyone, the world is in need of a new Beyonce album. Now, thanks to reports via HitsDailyDouble, we could possibly be hearing a new Queen Bey record very soon, along with an additional LP that will follow-up later in the year.
Beyoncé is close to making a new worldwide, multi-album deal with Sony Music, and the final release under the current deal is now set for April. But there are rumors of another Beyoncé album in 2016, this one a joint project with husband Jay Z.
While the reports have not been confirmed, they definitely make sense. With the superstar’s tour kicking off at the end of April, an album release before the tour’s start would be icing on the cake for those looking forward to new music. Also, this would not be the first time there have been reports of a Beyonce & Jay Z joint album as producers have mentioned creating material for the powerhouse couple in the past. While being unlikely that the ‘Diva’ singer will drop another album in the form of a surprise release, it’s almost guaranteed that this next album campaign will be larger than life.
