The Knowles family is doing all that it can to help those in need in their home state of Texas. Solange Knowles reportedly made a “significant” donation to the nonprofit organization, Mutual Aid Houston.
“We are so grateful to Solange Knowles for her significant donation to our post-freeze housing relief efforts. The Houston love is real,” Mutual Aid Houston tweeted.
Alongside her sister, Beyoncé has also made a significant donation to the Houston area. The Grammy winner has partnered with Adidas and Bread for Life to provide $1,000 grants for those impacted by the storm. Those impacted by the snowstorm were advised to apply via their website, but they have been forced to close the application after receiving an overwhelming amount of submissions.
“We send our prayers to those impacted by the winter storm,” the BeyGood Foundation tweeted.
