Amidst Harvey Weinstein’s groping scandal, Ben Affleck comes out to apologize after his own incident. After speaking out against Weinstein, Twitter then calls Affleck out on his own groping scandal.
During an interview on MTV’s TRL in 2003, Affleck is seen grabbing TRL VJ Hilarie Burton’s breasts as he greets her. Later in an interview on TRL Uncensored, Burton speaks about her reaction to him grabbing her inappropriately.
After Twitter brought the incident up, one fan tweets how everyone has forgotten about the incident. Afterwards, Burton then tweets how she has never forgotten and says “I was a kid”, being only 19 at the time.

After Burton’s tweets, Affleck apologizes on his actions towards Burton. No further comment from Burton has been made since then.
