Towards the end of the year, many labels, brands, and frankly, artists begin to wind things down and turn in for the holidays. While Atlanta’s own bdifferent has a lot to celebrate this holiday season, it doesn’t appear that he plans on slowing down anytime soon. Fresh off co-executive producing Culture Jam Presents: Legend In My Hood with his brother, Anthony Edwards, the Southern-bred rapper-producer is back with a single of his own called “On God” featuring KWAY.
Produced by Harrison Song, Natra Average, and Treedott, the early December single hits the ground running with animated, energetic production that serves as the backdrop for the two MCs to trade verses effortlessly.
“I just went top of the top On God, Ain’t no way that I ever stop ‘On God,'” he raps. “‘On God’ is an arrival song – letting people know the state of mind I’m in. I’m at a stage in my career where I’m proving a point by showing people how cold I really am.”
Midway through the track, the production shifts from upbeat and lively to darker and ominous. Amid the switch in production, KWAY and bdifferent are unfazed, flexing their success from previous years and setting the tone for the upcoming year with each punchline.
“‘Come On’ captures where I’m at creatively – experimenting with new ideas, pulling from experiences on the road, and showing the growth and versatility I’ve built as an artist,” he said about the single. “It’s about momentum, staying active in the studio, and letting the music evolve with me.”
The track sets the tone for the upcoming year. With more new music, a new project and a few special surprises up his sleeve, 2026 is set to be a major year for the southwest Atlanta native.
