Former President Barack Obama is set to campaign on behalf of former Vice President Joe Biden in Florida and Georgia on Monday. The 44th U.S. President will begin his day in Atlanta and then he will spend his afternoon in South Florida. In addition to rallying support for Biden, Obama will also push support toward Georgia Democratic Senate candidates Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock.
The former Illinois Senator has been more active in his support for his former running mate as of late. Over the last two weeks, he’s spent time campaigning on behalf of Biden in Pennsylvania and Florida. Most recently, he spent time with Biden in Flint, Michigan on Saturday.
Obama is not the only celebrity to offer support for Biden as of late. In recent weeks, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Tina Fey and Bruce Springstein have offered support for the presidential candidate. Offset and Common joined the former Vice President the last time he campaigned in Georgia.
Obama’s support of Biden could go a long way in his campaign. With 72 hours of voting left, all candidates are bringing out all the stops.
