In the new PS3 and Xbox 360 exclusive Assassin’s Creed Rogue you’ll take on protagonist Shay Patrick Cormac, a former Assassin. Shay has been exiled from the league and marked for death. In his quest for survival, Shay joins the Templars(yes, you’ve read correctly) and starts to hunt down his former brothers.
The setting of Rogue will be 18th century NYC, Appalachian Mountains and the high seas off of the coast of America. Since the French and Indian war is taking place during the time frame of Cormac’s journey, the war will have an affect on certain parts of the campaign.
With ‘Black Flag’s’ naval combat success, ‘Rogue’ will implement the combat system again, as Cormac will have to venture across the Atlantic Ocean. The ship players will receive this time around will be named ‘The Morrigan’. With the return of the combat system comes new elements. Icebergs will now be able to be used as cover, new weapons and there’ll be an ice breaking hull available.
Also a new ability that has been announced is Cormac’s enhanced eagle vision. With the enhanced eagle vision Cormac will be able to spot danger from a distance and he’ll be able to spot Assassins in crowded areas. Another new change will be Cormac’s signature weapon, as an assassin it would be the hidden blades, but seeing how Cormac is now an Templar, he’ll have an Air Rifle. The Air Rifle will be able to hit targets from close to long range and will have customizable ammunition.
Assassins Creed Rogue launches November 11th for PS3 and Xbox 360, ONLY.
