A$AP Rocky drops the music video for Babushka Boi, his first release since being freed from a Swedish prison.
Full of special effects makeup and prosthetics, A$AP Rocky and crew engage with police officers who resemble actual pigs, after they rob a bank. Directed by Nadia Lee Cohen, the video features A$AP Rocky along with ScHoolboy Q, A$AP Ferg and, A$AP Nast. The video draws inspiration from Dick Tracy, a 1930s era comicstrip turned 1990s era film.
The mob pulls off their robbery, sporting babushkas, and are chased throughout the video by the police in throwback cartoon fashion. They eventually engage in a shoot-out with the pig police who’s bodies are turned into sausages and hamburgers.
