Ferg has been relatively absent from the music scene for the past year. Now we know why, and we couldn’t be anymore hyped about it. Ferg is dropping a new album, Always Strive and Prosper, in early 2016. The rapper went onto HOT 97 to discuss in detail about the project and some of the features presented.
We got “Tatted Angels,” which is a tribute to the fallen Yams. Afterwards, the Future-assisted “New Level” blessed the internet, only leaving fans wanting more and trying to not wet themselves in anticipation.
During the interview Ferg reveals that he has joined forces with Missy Elliott on a DJ Mustard-produced track, along with ScHoolboy Q — who is featured on the track “Let It Bang” — and Rick Ross, Ty Dolla $ign, and Chris Brown.
