Ariana Grande is having the run of a lifetime. Over the last year, she’s dropped two albums, collaborated with music’s biggest names, won a Grammy Award and now she’s preparing to go on her biggest tour yet. With all of that going on, things just continue to get better for the actress turned Pop star.
After releasing her latest studio album, thank u, next, Grande has topped the charts yet again. Led by singles like “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored” and “thank u, next“, Grande’s latest project has moved approximately 360,000 units in its first week. The project marks the biggest release for a Pop album in over a year and delivers Grande her fourth number one album. To make things even sweeter for the Pop star, Grande’s latest album broke the first week streaming record for a Pop album. In total, the 2019 project moved 116,000 traditional copies and was streamed over 300 million times during its first week.
Grande will capitalize on the release of her last two number one albums with a worldwide tour set to begin this spring. Beginning on March 18th in Albany, Grande will make a total of seventy-six stops over the next eight months.
