Production on the reboot of ‘Are You Afraid Of The Dark‘ is set to begin as the producers have set a release date for the upcoming film. Deadline is reporting, that the ‘Are You Afraid Of The Dark’ reboot is set to be released on October 11th, 2019. This release date sets the film up for a prime run into the 2019 Halloween season. The release date also positions the film well out of the way of the surefire juggernaut of ‘IT: Chapter 2′ which releases an entire month before the reboot is slated to hit the big screen. Nostalgia has dominated the box office for quite some time now, and it will be interesting to see if the trend is still alive and kicking by 2019.
