David Joerger met with Minnesota Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor and Joerger is heading back to Memphis to discuss the situation with his family. Joerger would have to be dealt if an agreement is reached, and rumors say that Memphis is asking for a second round pick in return. Joerger went 50-32 in his first season in Memphis leading them to the playoffs. After being bounced in the first round by Oklahoma City it had been rumored Memphis was looking to replace Joerger with a homerun head coaching candidate. With those rumors of Memphis looking for a replacement I’d be shocked if Joerger isn’t the new head coach of The Minnesota Timberwolves sometime in the near future.
