Still setting the schedule for the near future of superhero films, Marvel announced that the Ant-Man sequel, titled Ant-Man and The Wasp, is set to release on July 6, 2018. The announcement came by way of Disney’s sweeping release announcement of its calendar through 2020.
This also comes with a shift in the prior released schedule for Black Panther, moving up from July 6, 2018 to a February 16 release, and Captain Marvel, which is being pushed from November 2, 2018 to March 8, 2019, just two months before Avengers: Infinity War Part II.
Marvel has also schedule three untitled films on May 1, July 10, and November 6 of 2020.
Ant-Man has earned over $400 million worldwide since its July release. The hero is linked to the Captain America storyline and is set to appear in Civil War next year.
