Six months ago, Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan, were arrested in Romania before being placed under house arrest. This month, the two men have been indicted on charges of human trafficking, rape and setting up a criminal enterprise. More specifically, Andrew Tate has been charged with rape while Tristan Tate has been accused of instigating violence. Moving forward, the case will be transferred to the court’s preliminary chamber and the judge will “inspect the case files to ensure legality.”
“[We] will embrace the opportunity to fight in court and present arguments and evidence,” Tate’s attorneys told Antena3 in Romania.
“Our main objective will be to establish the truth and ensure a fair and impartial legal approach by presenting evidence and proof relevant to the case. The referral of the case for trial will allow us to present a comprehensive body of evidence, diligently gathered and prepared over time, which will undoubtedly be essential in exonerating the defendants.”
Both Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate have denied the accusations levied against them. The two men are set to appear in court on June 21 in Romania at 4 a.m. EST.
