While it may have seemed seamless to re-sign with the Warriors, Iguodala had offers on the table from the Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs and Sacramento Kings. Subsequently, Iguodala used these offers as leverage against the Warriors but him choosing to re-sign may have been a harder decision than many think.
One aspect that many people don’t consider about a possible relocation is the players family. Iguodala joined NBA Gametime and gave his version of his free agency period that featured his son being upset about him possibly leaving the Warriors.

After Iguodala’s candid interview about his son almost crying, the NBA community ran with it and one person even asked what Iguodala’s reaction was.

This was definitely a funny experience and it’s good to see Iguodala having fun with the whole situation.
