Amber Rose will reportedly speak at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Rose is one of several influencers, musicians and political commentators set to take the stage in Milwaukee, including UFC CEO Dana White, country music artist Chris Janson and former FOX News Host Tucker Carlson among others.
Rose, best known for her work as a model and high-profile relationships with Wiz Khalifa and Kanye West, has been outspoken in her support of former President Donald Trump. During a recent episode of The Right View, Rose told Trump’s daughter, Lara, that she’s felt “free” and gained a “new fanbase” since expressing her support for the former reality show host.
“For me, Donald Trump is the epitome of an alpha male. He’s there to protect, provide, make sure that the citizens of the U.S. are in a good economy, protecting us,” she said.
“I feel protected by Donald Trump — that’s why I wanted to come out and publicly endorse him.”
While Rose says she’s gained a “new fanbase” since supporting the presumptive Republican nominee for President, she also says she’s lost more than 250,000 followers across her social media platforms in the process. Not to mention, she’s also drawn criticism from those within the Republican Party, including former congressional candidate Maria Peiro.
“Under the total Trump takeover of the RNC, the GOP will be represented at the convention by Amber Rose who believes in ’empowering the LGBTQ+ community’ [and] ‘ending sexual, social injustice, derogatory labeling, and gender inequality,'” Peiro wrote.
“Conservatives who voted for Trump in the primary, how do you like being represented by a woke, pro-trans, socialist at the GOP convention?”
Despite pushback from those within her own party, Rose will speak to conservatives in Milwaukee when the Republican National Convention takes place on July 15-18 in Milwaukee.
