Thanks to Xbox’s Smart Glass app and RichGangGaming from twitter for doing the searching, we now have all of the game modes for NBA 2k16.
First up is 2k Pro-AM. 2k recently teased this mode via Twitter and had us all wondering what it would be. As you may or may not know, Pro-AM is a real life basketball league around the USA where Pro athletes play on teams with those still trying to make it or are just playing because they are really good. With that being said, one can only immediately think that this would of been the beloved Crew Mode, but it is not. 2k Pro-AM is a revamped Jordan Rec Center, where you’ll be able to play with your friends with fully customizable branding. Now you and your team will be able to have your own team jerseys and names while competing for the top spot on 2k’s Power Rankings.
Now with the “leak” we now have confirmation that users will be able to play High-school and College basketball for MyCareer. If you’re wondering what Spike Lee may have up his sleeves for MyCareer, you may want to check out his 1998 film, ‘He Got Game’, which starred Ray Allen and Denzel Washington. While the story may not be as gritty as the 98 classic, Spike does bring in some of those elements as it is stated that players will be hit with significant trails and tribulations.
Below are returning modes: MyGM, MyLeague and MyTeam. All seem to have the same aspects from NBA 2k15, aside from MyTeam which has a few changes.
NBA 2K16 launches September 25th for all who pre-order and September 29th for those who do not. There is a Special Edition which has more of a bonus for players and will retail for $79.99.
