Al Horford has played in the NBA for ten years and has been to the playoffs eight of those ten years. He was even a part of a 60 win Atlanta Hawks team that was extremely good. Despite all of this, Al Horford said he is most excited for these upcoming playoffs.

The Celtics are currently the 1-seed in the Eastern Conference and look poised to hold strong. The Cavs have been resting players and look pretty disinterested in regaining hold over the top seed. The Celtics roster is also chalked full of fun NBA players like Isaiah Thomas, Avery Bradley, Marcus Smart, Jaylen Brown, and Jae Crowder but they have not played inspired basketball in awhile.
They may just be the most fragile top seed in years. Horford, nonetheless, is excited about their chances come playoff time. This may also be due to the East being extremely weak. Even the “favorites” in the East have been brutal for months. No matter what, Horford’s optimism should be music to Celtics’ fans ears.
