If you didn’t know yesterday was the 25th anniversary of the Spike Lee Joint, ‘Do The Right Thing’. Not only did Spike make the film he starred in it as a pizza delivery guy named Mookie. That’s just the short version, check out the movie if you haven’t.
With Spikes relationship with MJ over the years and this classic movie, sparked a few Jordan’s to be inspired by the film subbing them DTRT;
Air Jordan 3s, Spizikes, Son Of Mars, Air Jordan 28s and an Air Jordan 1 Mid pack consisting of 2 Shoes.
Yesterday via: Instagram this picture of an Air Jordan 5 to celebrate the 25th Anniversary was posted. It goes away from the typical DTRT colorway for the most part and adds this stand out mural atop of a Royal blue make up probably Brooklyn Dodgers inspired. Also a “Do The Right Thing” hang tag.
Of course there is no confirmation these will ever release, more than likely a 1 of 1 but enjoy the pic and share your thoughts.
