Arriving just in time for Father’s Day is the Air Jordan 1 Retro High ‘Family Forever’, which is representative of the strong bond in the Jordan family unit. Jeffrey, Marcus, and Jasmine Jordan approached the footwear designers at Jordan Brand to create a celebratory sneaker for their father. While the predominantly denim upper is accented with leather panels, three lace eyelets (blue, red and yellow) provide a touch of color in an otherwise very serious shoe. A classic white midsole sits atop a dark powder blue outsole, and the inside of the tongue contains a quote that reads, “If you accept the expectations of others, especially negative ones, then you never will change the outcome.” The heartfelt and aspirational message is the most notable part of the shoe.
