Rest in Power, ASAP Yams!
The folks at adidas is certainly hard at work trying to move the culture as they look to add to their roster of collaborations with big name music artist. The ASAP Mob is no stranger to working with the three stripes as ASAP Rocky has previously done some work with the brand before. This time around it is fellow ASAP member, ASAP Ferg who is at the forefront to deliver a collection which pays tribute to the late ASAP Yams. The upcoming adidas Skateboarding collaboration is being dubbed, Traplord x adidas Adi-Ease Collection.
The Traplord adidas collection consists of two sneakers in their respective colorways being black and tan. Throughout the sneakers, there are Traplord graphics that even reach the laces. Having Hood Pope on the back is an added touch and most importantly the inside sock lining features a painting of Yams.
The collection also features apparel which is where the ASAP Yams tribute is noticeably applied. On the shirt there’s a picture of Yams holding the world and yellow beams representing all that Yams believed in and visioned for Hip Hop culture.
